A water-soluble coenzyme Q10 is born
A team of scientists develops an innovative water-soluble form of Coenzyme Q10—the world’s first-ever CoQ10 complex that enables liquid formulations. Valens brings this innovation to market under the registered name Q10Vital®.
Proven in paediatric clinical practice
The CoQ10 syrup, made in Valens, shows great medical results and is highly respected at the Ljubljana Pediatric Clinic, where it is a vital treatment for children with mitochondrial diseases.

GMP regulations enable companies to minimise or eliminate errors in record keeping, personnel qualifications, sanitation, cleanliness, equipment verification, process validation and complaint handling. Most importantly, GMP ensures traceability and safety of selected raw materials at every step of the process.

The focus of all IFS standards is on enhancing transparency in the supply chain; the IFS Food Standard in particular is used for auditing food manufacturers. It combines the requirements of the HACCP system with the principles of good business and hygiene practice. This standard is especially important for private label manufacturers, as it contains many requirements related to compliance with customer specifications.

FDA-registered facility

Our production site is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a food facility under the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) — mandatory for any site that manufactures, packs or holds food supplements destined for the United States, and renewable every two years. For you it means we can legally produce for your US launch, the site is open to FDA inspection, and the traceability records an FDA audit requires are already in place. Registration is not FDA approval: the FDA does not approve dietary supplements or their manufacturers.
